MITSUMATA (branch divided into tree) in Japanese.
In chinese,JIEXIANG.Parfumed branch. More poetic than MITSUMATA,I guess.

We use the bark of this tree for making japanese paper.

The flower of oriental paperbush anounce that The Spring is coming soon.
When the most popular spring flower in japan SAKURA (cherry blossom) has come, the oriental paperbush become like that.

The people who look up for cherry blossom and don't pay the attention to the oriental paperbush.

Pain de campagne from the best boulangerie in Tokyo "PARIS NO SORA NO SHITA" with french Echire butter and homemade honey on my favorite plate from MORIYAMA Pottery. Then, full black cafe in the finger drawing cup from KURASHIKI TSUTSUMI Pottery and fruits of season.

The plate chages according to my feeling and sunshine in the room. But,my breakfast is same.
